Product Overview
The HZNQ-1101 Oil Pour Point Tester is designed to determine the pour point of transformer oil, lubricating oil, and light oil, as well as the freezing point of various chemical raw materials. Equipped with an imported refrigeration compressor, it offers rapid cooling and high precision with its imported sensor. Widely used in electric power, chemical, railway, and petroleum industries.

Instrument Introduction
Under national standard conditions, the sample is tested in vitro by placing it in an alcohol bath with a refrigerated sample tube. The highest temperature at which the liquid stops flowing is the sample's condensation point.
  • Open the package to check for damage.
  • Verify the equipment model and accessories according to the packing list.
  • Debug the instrument after verification.
Operation steps:
  • Insert the power cord into an AC220V socket with reliable grounding.
  • Add anhydrous ethanol to the frozen chamber up to the evaporator copper pipe.
  • Fill the test tube with the sample to the calibration line, place it in the freezer, immerse in ethanol, and insert the thermometer.
  • Turn on power, stirring, and refrigeration switches, set the thermostat, and observe cooling. The pour point is when the sample stops flowing upon tilting.

Pour Point Operation Method
  • Name: Pour Point
  • Method summary: After cooling, check fluidity every 3°C, recording the lowest temperature at which the sample flows as the pour point.
  • Operation method:
    • Pour the sample into a dry, clean test tube up to the ring mark, fix the thermometer with a stopper, and inject 1-2 mL of absolute ethanol.
    • Immerse the test tube in the cooling bath, observing fluidity as temperature drops by 3°C. Do not disturb the sample once paraffin crystals form.
    • If the sample does not flow when tilted, place it horizontally for 5 seconds. If it moves, continue cooling. Record the temperature when it does not move after 5 seconds, adding 3°C to determine the pour point.

Solidification Point Operation Method
  • Name: Solidification point
  • Summary: Cool the sample in a test tube to the expected temperature, tilt at 45° for 1 minute, and observe the liquid level. The highest temperature at which the liquid does not move is the freezing point.
  • Operation method:
    • Pour the sample into a dry, clean test tube up to the ring mark, fix the thermometer, and inject 1-2 mL of absolute ethanol.
    • Immerse in the cooling bath (7-8°C below expected freezing point).
    • When the sample reaches the expected freezing point, tilt at 45° for 1 minute, ensuring immersion in coolant.
    • Remove, wipe, place vertically, and observe. The temperature at which the liquid surface stops moving is the freezing point.
