Product overviewThe HZ1151 fully automatic apparent viscometer (CCS) by Huazheng is designed to measure the low-temperature apparent/dynamic viscosity of engine oils in compliance with GB/T6538-2010 and ASTM D5293. It performs measurements from -35 °C to -5 °C with 5 °C steps and integrates automatic temperature control and a color touch screen for test setup and result review.
Application and measurement rangeSuitable for CCS (cold-cranking simulator) tests of engine oils. Typical measurement capability covers apparent viscosities from about 500 to 20,000 mPa·s and shear rates on the order of 10^5 to 10^4 s^-1 in the low-temperature range (examples reported at -5 °C to -30 °C depending on test configuration). The instrument is intended for laboratory and R&D use in lubricant testing.
