Overview
The U-4620 is the world's first cable-free ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) tester designed for non-destructive testing of concrete. Wireless RF synchronization eliminates cables between transmitter and receiver, removing failure-prone connections of traditional systems. The compact, lightweight design supports single-operator use, reducing setup time and improving on-site efficiency. The instrument measures pulse velocity to evaluate concrete strength, homogeneity, cracks, voids and elastic properties without damaging structures. Three operating modes are available: time/velocity, crack depth and parameter. A high-resolution display is integrated into the receiver. Internal memory, Bluetooth and PC connectivity via USB-C enable data handling. Structured PDF and Excel reports can be produced via the dedicated mobile app and PC software. Accuracy ±0.1%, measuring range up to 10 m, battery life up to 8 hours. Compliant with IS, BS-4408, BS-1881 and ASTM C-597 standards.
