Product descriptionThermal evaporation (resistance evaporation) is a coating method and is one of the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) processes. The material for the final layer is heated inside a vacuum chamber until it evaporates. The vapor of the material condensates on the substrate for the desired layer. As resistance heaters, our evaporation coils have a very high melting point. This means that they can heat virtually any material to the highest temperatures.
Your advantages at a glance- High corrosion resistance
- Highly pure material prevents impurities on the substrate
- High dimensional stability
The perfect material for your applicationOur range includes evaporation coils made of the following materials:
- WVM (grain-stabilized tungsten for vacuum metallizing) for evaporating aluminum
- Tantalum
- Molybdenum
- Molybdenum-lanthanum (ML) for a particularly long service life
