Mimic board MDM-M

Overview
The Mimic driver comprises two PCBs: the MDM-M (Main board) and the MDM-EX (Expansion board). The MDM-M connects to the CIE via RS-485 and provides 32 configurable LED outputs powered from an external EN54-4 supply. One MDM-M supports up to three MDM-EX boards for a total of 128 LED outputs per panel.

Installation and compatibility
Connect the MDM-M to the CIE via RS-485. Use an EN54-4 compliant external power supply for the powered outputs. Follow recommended terminal wire gauges (0.5–2.5mm²) and M3 screw fittings. Ensure ambient conditions are within the specified temperature and humidity ranges. Firmware updates and configuration are performed through the CIE.
