A9020T point-type heat fire detector is designed to work with the SEC3002 fire alarm control panel in a two-wire loop configuration. It integrates an internal microprocessor and electronic addressing. The detector continuously acquires local temperature data and transmits it to the fire alarm control panel; it also receives and executes control commands from the panel. During routine inspections the detector indicator flashes; when temperature reaches the alarm threshold the detector signals the panel and the indicator remains lit to show an alarm.

Application

• Suitable for industrial and commercial buildings where fires develop significant heat, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, generator rooms, drying workshops and smoking rooms. Not recommended for areas with heavy smoke but low heat generation.
