The isolator base does not require addressing and does not occupy an address on the loop
When the short-circuit fault is removed, the isolator will de-isolate and the isolated segment will be reconnected to the bus
Product Info
The D9057B isolator base is designed to protect the loop in case of a short-circuit fault. When a short occurs on the loop, the isolator adjacent to the fault quickly isolates the affected segment to keep the remainder of the loop operational.
