The SFP ports offer long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions that adapt to Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds. It is used with multi-axis robots and their peripherals such as PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices. It offers auto-negotiation on all its ports and Modbus TCP to aggregate devices easily in industrial Ethernet applications. The switch optimizes traffic with Storm, Flow Control, and QoS - it prioritizes industrial data packets, prevents the loss of data during communication, and offers a stable transmission. It has a topology map to visualize the network and complies with cybersecurity standards to safeguard the network from vulnerabilities. This switch is built with industrial-grade components and enclosed in an IP40 aluminum case with high thermal conductivity, which protects the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, interference, and temperatures ranging from -40˚C~75˚C (-40°F~167°F), it suits extreme industrial applications. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails. Features Robust Electrical and Electromagnetic Safeguard: Engineered to withstand EMI (electromagnetic interference), ESD (Electrostatic discharge), power surge, over voltage, over current, and reverse polarity. Redundant Power System: Powered simultaneously with two different power sources, e.g. SDR-480P-48 power supply and IRA-120/IRA-160 DIN-rail mountable AC to DC power adapter, with power failure alarm. Fiber Connectivity with Dual SFP Ports: Dual Gigabit SFP slots for future expansion of fiber-based daisy chain topologies. Port-based and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN: GARP (Generic Attribute Registration Protocol) and GVRP (Generic VLAN Registration Protocol) for segmentation of large networks into smaller parts and separate broadcast domains. Efficient Traffic Prioritization: Effective QoS mechanisms for priority assignment, transmission of dedicated traffics to specific applications, and allocation of appropriate bandwidth to mission-critical communications.
