When to choose a Neostar permanent magnetic chuck: Thanks to the top plate with radial poles, the Neostar permanent chuck is primarily designed for turning and grinding round and ring shaped workpieces. The advantage is the possibility to machine of the front, inner and outer diameter of the workpiece in one operation. The top plate with radial poles allows easy and efficient machining of the front, inner and outer diameter of the workpiece in one operation – without the need to release and re-clamp it. It features a maximum holding force up to 140 N/cm2 – depending on the chuck size and dimensions of the workpieces to be machined. The robust steel base is provided with 2 – 4 threads on the bottom for attachment to a suitable flange.
