Overview

The BJP electromagnetic chuck is a heavy-duty chuck designed for surface grinding of a wide range of parts and sizes. Operation is via a control unit that enables activation and stepless regulation of magnetic holding force to establish optimum clamping conditions.

Description

Coils are arranged to maximise magnetic utilisation and provide a high, uniform holding force with minimal thermal rise in the work area. The control unit allows activation by button or disconnect switch and provides smooth adjustment of holding force. Integration with a suitable control unit and the machine control enables partially or fully automatic operation. Automatic demagnetization is available to prevent residual magnetism in the workpiece after unclamping.
