Description

Product Introduction
  • The UHV-331 Transformer Turns Ratio Tester is a portable instrument designed to measure transformer turns ratio and winding/vector group for three-phase transformers, including Z-connected units. The Transformer Turns Ratio Tester is intended for field and workshop use where fast, repeatable measurements and flexible data handling are required.

Key Features of Transformer Turns Ratio Tester
  • Suitable for three-phase transformers including Z-type (zero-connection) windings.
  • Two output voltage options to support transformers with high zero-sequence current.
  • Automatic tap-position calculation and vector group identification.
  • Fast operation: completes three-phase measurement in approximately 18 seconds.
  • High repeatability with stable measurement results.
  • Automatic storage of up to 99 test data sets.
  • Flexible data management: retrieve, print, export to USB, delete and upload to PC.
  • Protections for transformer short-circuit and inter-turn short-circuit; fault information displayed on the LCD.
  • Compatible with PC software for full-process test control and data management.
  • Supplied with a detailed user manual; compact and portable design (slightly larger than an A4 sheet), host weight 6.9 kg.

Core Purpose of TTR Tester
  • This instrument is mainly used for precise measurement of transformer ratio, error, and wiring group during transformer factory delivery, handover, and maintenance. It can effectively detect faults such as inter turn short circuits, tap changer connection errors, winding deformations, etc., and is a key testing method to ensure the assembly quality and operating status of transformers.

Daily inspection and cleaning of TTR Tester
  • Inspection: Before use, the appearance of the instrument should be checked for damage. After powering on, the display screen should be checked for completeness. For instruments that have not been used for a long time, the output terminal should also be checked for rust or aging.
  • Cleaning: After each experiment, the wires on the instrument terminals should be cleaned and placed in a dry, dust-free, ventilated, and non corrosive gas room to maintain a good environment for the instrument.

Functional Inspection and Calibration of Transformer Turns Ratio Tester
  • Functional testing: The instrument should have self checking function, which can check whether various functions are normal through the self checking program. If any faults or abnormalities are found, they should be promptly eliminated.
  • Precision calibration: Regularly use standard transformers or calibration instruments for calibration, adjust the parameters of the testing instrument to ensure its accuracy. The calibration process should be carried out under stable environmental conditions.

Environmental Adaptability and Storage of Automatic TTR Test Set
  • Environmental adaptability: The instrument can be used both inside and outside the house, but should be avoided from places such as rain, corrosive gases, excessive dust, high temperatures, and direct sunlight.
  • Storage requirements: When not in use, the instrument should be packed and sealed, and placed in a dry, dust-free, ventilated, and non corrosive indoor environment to avoid contact with humid environments and prevent damage to the instrument due to moisture.
