Description

Overview
Hydraulically operated pressure relief / pressure sustaining control valve capable of two distinct functions: installed in-line it sustains a pre-set minimum upstream (back) pressure regardless of fluctuating flow or varying downstream pressure; installed as a branched-from-line circulation valve it relieves excessive line pressure when above a pre-set maximum.

Features & Benefits
  • Designed for demanding conditions
    • Excellent anti-cavitation properties
    • Wide flow capacity
    • High stability and pressure-control accuracy
    • Drip-tight sealing
  • Double-chamber design
    • Moderated valve response
    • Protected diaphragm
    • Optional operation at very low pressure
    • Controlled closing curve
  • Flexible configuration — easy addition of options
  • Obstacle-free flow passage
  • V-Port throttling plug (optional) — very stable at low flow
  • In-line serviceable — simplified maintenance
  • Certified for potable water and functional standards — EN-1074, NSF/ANSI 61-372, WRAS, AS 5081 and others

Typical Applications
  • Water distribution systems — prioritize upstream pressure over downstream demand
  • Water networks — sustain upstream pressure to maintain service levels
  • Pumping stations — ensure operating point on pump curve
  • Pumping station circulation during low demand periods
  • Filtration and backwash systems — maintain minimum pressure for efficient backflush

Certifications & Compliance
  • EN-1074
  • NSF-ANSI 61-372
  • WRAS
  • AS 5081
  • Additional regional drinking-water and functional standards
