Description

Overview
The Hyper Vision HPV-X2 is a high-speed video camera designed to record and visualize ultrashort phenomena that are invisible to the human eye. With capabilities suited to material testing, medical research and engineering, the HPV-X2 enables capture of events occurring in timeframes shorter than 50–100 ms and their playback at slower rates for analysis and documentation.

Key features
  • Recording speed up to 10 million frames/second: industry-leading performance for ultra high-speed capture with wide, high-sensitivity imaging.
  • FTCMOS2 image sensor: approximately six times the sensitivity of conventional sensors, improving signal-to-noise ratio and image clarity under equivalent optics.
  • Windows-compatible control software: connect camera to PC via LAN cable for immediate configuration and recording. Recordings can be saved in a proprietary format and in common formats such as AVI, BMP, JPEG and TIFF.
  • Synchronized recording and advanced analysis functions: supports integration with a variety of software tools for post-processing and measurements.

Videos / Example recordings
  • Laser Ablation Film Forming Apparatus
  • The Destruction Process of Microbubbles in Proximity to Cancer Cells Using Ultrasonic Waves
  • High Speed Contraction of Microbubbles
  • Instantaneous Flash Lighting (Recording speed: 10 million frames/second)
  • Breaking Glass (Recording Speed 10Mfps)
  • MEMS High-Speed Operation (Recording speed: 10 million frames/second)
  • High Speed Tensile Test of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP)
  • Inkjet and atomization studies
