OverviewThe USF-2000A performs materials fatigue testing at 20 kHz, enabling evaluation in the very-high-cycle fatigue (VHCF) range (approximately 10^9–10^10 cycles). Results for ~10^7 cycles can be obtained in about ten minutes, allowing rapid characterization of fatigue behavior.
Product typeUltrasonic Fatigue Testing System
Features- Accelerated fatigue-life evaluation of metals and other materials at a 20 kHz cycle rate.
- Very-high-cycle testing capability up to around 10^10 cycles; continuous operation enables 10^10-cycle tests to be completed in a few days.
- Resonance-condition testing generates significant stress amplitudes for economical high-stress testing.
- Constant stress-amplitude control via the supplied controller with PC-based software for test setup and monitoring.
