The HITS-X Series is an impact testing machine for evaluation of dynamic strength (impact properties) of materials and components. The system records maximum test force, energy and displacement at test velocities up to 72 km/h (20 m/s). Two main configurations are offered: HITS-TX (tensile load type) for high-speed tensile and fracture tests, and HITS-PX (punching type) for high-rate puncture and penetration evaluations.
