Description

The LDP-1 Series Positioner is a compact 4-axis laser diode mount designed for precise positioning applications. Utilizing the XY and tip/tilt mechanics from the popular BFT-5 fiber positioner, it offers both back and front adjustable options for laser diode alignment. The X and Y axes provide 0.12 inches (3 mm) of travel, adjusted via 80TPI fine pitch screws, while tip/tilt motion also uses 80TPI screws and allows for a total of 8 degrees of motion. The positioner features 8-32 (M4) tapped holes on two edges for convenient mounting to PR series posts. The LDP-1B variant includes 4-40 clearance holes and tip/tilt adjustments on the back side, enabling through-bulkhead adjustments.
