IntroductionThe FHG-AH series harmonic reduction gear is designed for high-torque, large hollow-shaft and heavy-load industrial applications. It features a top-hat style flexspline and an oversized hollow-bore wave generator cam, allowing cables, lead screws and optical paths to be routed through the central cavity to accommodate passage of large components. The series supports input integration via synchronous pulley connections or large hollow-shaft gear interfaces.
Key features- Top-hat style flexspline with oversized hollow shaft and bore for through-shaft routing
- High torque capacity with increased load-bearing performance and rigidity
- Excellent rotational accuracy and repeatable positioning
- Available reduction ratios: 50, 80, 100, 120, 160 (model dependent)
Applications- Heavy industrial machinery requiring through-shaft routing (cables, screws, optics)
- Robotic joints and rotary actuators that demand high torque and precision
- Packaging, printing and automation equipment with space-constrained routing needs
Technical data (selection)The series ranges from model FHG-45-50-AH to FHG-65-160-AH. Rated torques span approximately 229–1238 Nm, peak torques 650–3419 Nm, permissible input speeds up to 3800 r/min depending on model. Weights vary between 10 and 28.5 kg. Refer to the model table for detailed torque, speed, backlash and weight values.
Integration & installation notes- Input can be via synchronous pulley or large hollow-shaft gear coupling; confirm coupling dimensions at order
- Central hollow bore facilitates cable/shaft passage—verify routing diameter against component requirements
- Select reduction ratio and model based on torque, speed and backlash requirements
Ordering- Specify exact model code (e.g., FHG-50-100-AH), required reduction ratio and any custom bore or mounting options
- Provide operating torque profile and expected duty cycle to ensure correct sizing
