Overview
The XD5 series is a programmable logic controller that includes all standard PLC functions plus faster processing (approx. 15× vs. XC series), expanded internal resources and 2–10 channels of high-speed pulse output. It supports right-side expansion modules, BD expansion boards (not supported on 16-point models), left-side ED expansion modules and SD card storage expansion (except 16-point models), addressing a range of automation requirements.
