Product Overview
G70 Tow Chain is a NACM/ASTM Grade 70 transport and towing chain designed for truck load binding and towing applications. Manufactured from premium heat-treated carbon steel with improved hardenability and wear resistance. US type, yellow plated option available, supplied with clevis slip hook for truck use. Meets DOT requirements for towing.

Parameter (Definitions)

• Grade of Chain: NACM/ASTM classification; higher grade indicates higher working load limit for a given size.
• Working Load Limit (WLL): Rated operational capacity — maximum recommended load in direct tension on an undamaged straight chain.
• Proof Test: Minimum tensile force applied during manufacturing as an integrity check; not a design criterion.
• Minimum Breaking Force: Lowest force recorded during manufacturing break tests; used for acceptance, not service design.
• Overhead Lifting: Lifting a suspended load where a drop could cause injury or damage — G70 tow chain is intended for transport/towing, not for standard overhead lifting unless specifically certified.
