Overview
Grade 30 proof coil chain, electronically welded and electro-galvanized for corrosion resistance. Designed as a general-purpose utility chain for non-overhead-lifting applications where a reliable working load limit and dimensional consistency are required.

Introduction
Manufactured from low carbon steel, this Grade 30 proof coil chain is suitable for agricultural, towing, logging and switch-chain uses. It provides consistent strength characteristics in accordance with NACM/ASTM classifications. Not intended for overhead lifting.

• Do NOT use for overhead lifting.
• DO NOT EXCEED the published Working Load Limit (WLL).

Parameters

• Grade of Chain: Classified per NACM and ASTM; Grade 30 indicates the chain's manufacturing and strength category.
• Working Load Limit (WLL): Maximum recommended working load in direct tension for an undamaged straight length of chain.
• Proof Test: Manufacturing test force applied in direct tension to verify integrity; not a service or design criterion.
• Minimum Breaking Force: Measured breaking load during manufacture; this is a manufacturer acceptance test and not a guarantee for service conditions.
• Overhead Lifting: Any operation that could raise a suspended load to a position where a dropped load may cause injury or damage — this chain is NOT rated for such use.
