Description
The abrasive diamond surface is permanently fused to a 17-4 stainless steel pad to provide secure holding of smooth or slippery workpieces with minimal clamping pressure. The surface texture is comparable to a 100-grit abrasive; individual diamond particles concentrate holding pressure to small, well-distributed contact points for superior grip and reduced surface marking. The diamond layer delivers excellent wear resistance. The pad is heat treated to Rockwell Rc 43/46. A blind-hole tap on the back enables secure rear mounting; tapped and counterbore variants are available.
