Product overviewTG GripSerts TG-STD workholding inserts are engineered to grip steel workpieces in multi-axis machining. Requiring only 3.5 mm of clamp surface to secure the part, the inserts' triangular geometry and toothed profile generate a pull-down effect that prevents lifting during clamping. The inserts are made from a tough-coated cemented carbide designed to penetrate steel.
Advantages- Triangular shape with a 5° taper and toothed geometry provides stable clamping without pre-machining or dovetail machining of the workpiece.
- Pull-down effect prevents workpiece lift during clamping, improving repeatability in 5-axis operations.
