Overview
The 12 V Yuasa YBX9000 next-generation lead-acid batteries are engineered for vehicles equipped with emissions-reduction systems such as Start-Stop and regenerative braking. These AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries deliver improved cycle life, high charge acceptance and additional power for onboard accessories when the engine is off. They are also suitable as a 12 V battery in certain electric and hybrid vehicles.

Installation and usage notes

• If a vehicle is factory-equipped with an AGM battery, it should be replaced with an AGM battery with the same performance and specifications.
• AGM batteries can serve as an upgrade option to replace conventional or EFB batteries on many vehicles; use a compatibility/selection tool to validate the correct option.
• Designed for high charge acceptance while the engine is running to enable rapid recharge during operation.
