The hydraulic press is designed to provide efficient services in die tests. It is equipped with two plates. The upper plate is 2100x900 mm in size and actuated by three cylinders. The cylinders have a stroke of 250 mm. The lower plate is 2100x900 mm in size. Maximum opening between both plates is 900 mm. Four cylinder-shaped columns, each with 140 mm diameter and incorporating bronze sleeves, are provided to guide the upper plate. The speed and volume of flow is regulated by a hydraulic assembly equipped with pistons. This hydraulic assembly operates at maximum pressure values of 270 bar. The machine operates at speeds of 55 mm/sec while the approximation speed is 17 mm/sec. The motor engine provides a power of 25 Hp and has an integrated star or delta starter technology. The stroke distance and work load/speed/pressure are controlled by means of a touch screen equipped with transductor and encoder. The machine weighs 17,000 kg or 17 tons.
