Overview
Alpha 20 is a diesel-hydraulic wet-mix concrete sprayer designed for tunnelling profiles up to 5 m in height and 5 m in width. It is engineered for reliable operation, simplified maintenance and straightforward servicing. The machine features a purpose-built agile boom and a BS7622 concrete pump with a theoretical maximum capacity of 20 m3/h. The accelerator dosing uses a hydraulically driven peristaltic pump paired with a 350 L stainless steel additive tank. An optional radio remote control enables safe, accurate operation of all spraying functions from a distance. Four-wheel steering and 4WD support manoeuvring in confined or difficult underground conditions. The power unit is a 120 kW Tier 3 engine and the operator is protected by a FOPS/ROPS safety cabin.
