The heat spreader is intended as a supplemental thermal transfer element and is not a guaranteed standalone cooling system. It should be integrated with a suitable dissipation chain (e.g., larger heat sinks, fans, heat pipes) designed for the specific application. Customers are responsible for designing and validating an application-dependent cooling solution to ensure the heat spreader / heat sink temperature remains within the module’s specified range after evaluating processor workload, system enclosure and airflow/thermal analysis.
