Description

Overview
The mechanical kiss-cutting press is a high-throughput industrial die-cutting solution for full or partial cuts of soft materials (foam, rubber, paper, cardboard, composites). Available as a single machine or integrated into complete production lines, it processes rolls or sheets for kiss-cut, stripping, slitting, unwinding and rewinding. Depending on feed step and configuration, the press can reach up to 180 strokes per minute.

Main functional description
  • Welded gap-frame structure with moving upper platen driven by connecting rods and crank system linked to a geared motor; all joints on bearings and guarded.
  • Tool support metal sheet supplied; die fixed by screws and clamped to the upper platen via a hand-locking dovetail.
  • Lower platen adjustable by nut-and-bolt system to precisely set kiss-cut point; replaceable bolster plate on lower platen.
  • Double feed rollers (upstream and downstream) on each side of the platen, driven by brushless/servo motors for dynamic response and accurate step feeding; independent on/off control for push or pull feeding modes.
  • Guiding and positioning systems at the cutting area and variable-tension guide rolls at the press entry.
  • Programmable digital control for feed step, acceleration, deceleration, cuts per stroke, etc.; memory for up to 999 production programs; user-friendly interface.
  • Compliance with current safety standards and wide range of options for adaptation to specific production needs.

Key Features
  • Industrial die-cutting for full and kiss-cut applications.
  • High-speed operation up to 180 strokes/minute depending on configuration.
  • Precise mechanical advance accuracy ±0.1 mm and manual cut adjustment to 0.01 mm.
  • Brushless/servo-driven feed rollers for accurate step feeds.
  • Configurable working areas from 350×350 mm to 1000×1000 mm.
  • Available cutting powers from 10 to 80 tons across models 110–180.
  • Adaptable to multiple sectors (aeronautics, automotive, packaging) with multiple peripherals.
