Overview
Discover the SUTEAU-ANVER Movable Beam Hydraulic Die-Cutting Machine Model VFS, an industrial die-cutting press engineered for precision, efficiency and high-speed processing of flexible non-metallic materials. Designed for mass production, it processes materials supplied as rolls or sheets on a belt, or on steel or polypropylene plates.

Design and construction
The machine structure comprises one fixed table and one fixed upper beam assembled to four vertical uprights. The movable beam is mounted to the upper beam by a central hydraulic cylinder that controls its rise and descent. Beam guidance is ensured at the four corners by celoron elements in contact with the vertical uprights; the machine is designed to operate with a cutting force symmetrical relative to the central cutting area.

Stops, adjustment and control
The bottom cutting point is defined by four mechanical stops. Adjustment of these stops according to die height is automatic and performed during a setup phase. The stops are motorised by a geared motor and an electronic speed variator. After adjustment, the control screen allows correction of the cutting-point position with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The four posi-stops are integrated into the fixed table. Optionally an air spray system is available to avoid contamination of the upper side of the stops. The upper stop position is also adjustable to set the distance between the top of the material and the die blades; adjustment can be made at any time via the control screen. The position is monitored by a linear potentiometer with an accuracy of +/- 5 mm.

Operation and safety
To ensure operator safety during interventions under the movable beam, the movable beam can be hydraulically locked in the upper position. This locking is automatic during machine stop or during die changing.
