Welding robot CLOOS

Carl Cloos Schweißtechnik GmbH has been working successfully in the robotic automation of welding manufacturing processes since 1978. CLOOS is a single source supplier of complete welding systems, with the main emphasis on MIG/MAG and TIG welding machines and turn-key ROMAT® Robot systems. The benefit for the customer is that all robot system components are developed and manufactured by one supplier: from the robot control, workpiece positioner and sensor systems up to the power sources and welding torches. New efficient process technologies such as MIG/MAG TANDEM technology, plasma- (powder) and strip welding make the use of robots even more economic.

TURNKEY SYSTEM SOLUTIONS

ROMAT® industrial robots, which are primarily designed for MIG/MAG and TIG welding, can also be used for plasma cutting, oxyacetylene cutting and robot handling. A large variety of peripheral equipment is available to provide a complete system solution. Starting with simple turn/tilt tables and convenient orbital manipulators and extending to gantries and rotating robot columns, customers can find suitable peripheral equipment for all their positioning requirements.
