Overview
Portable dry-well temperature calibrator TP17-SOLID. The TP Solid series focuses on flexibility. Operation is simple and intuitive, providing fast access to all functions. Micro-baths (e.g. TPM165S, TPM255S) are also available to complete the range. A speed-controlled magnetic stirrer ensures good temperature homogeneity.

Main functions
Reversible functions combined with an external reference sensor allow testing of various temperature monitoring devices regardless of shape, size or measurement method. A switch enables selection between the internal and external reference probe. All instruments in this series are equipped with a PC serial port.

Dry-well function description
Optimal thermal coupling of the block to the element under test is achieved using a suitable insert. Ideally, the drilled hole diameter should be 0.5 mm larger than the external diameter of the element under test. The dry-well covers its full temperature range without changing the calibration medium, avoiding constraints related to the viscosity of calibration media.
