Presentation
Multifunction temperature calibrator TP3M255E. Portable calibrator designed for on-site calibration of temperature measuring instruments. Available in micro-bath, dry block, blackbody (infrared) and surface temperature modes. Suitable up to 255°C. Touchscreen interface and portable design.

Micro-bath function
Using calibration liquids (e.g. silicone oil suitable for the calibration temperature) allows direct immersion of the test element for optimal thermal contact without air insulation. Adjustable magnetic stirrer control is available. Removable sensor basket provides uniform agitation, creating a wide measurement zone while preventing vortex formation and protecting the bottom of the reservoir.

Dry block function
The dry block uses tailored inserts to obtain optimal thermal coupling between the block and the test element. Recommended drill diameter is approximately 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the probe under test. The dry block covers the full temperature range without requiring a change of calibration medium and avoids issues related to liquid viscosity.

Blackbody (infrared) function
Patented infrared calibration insert designed for calibration of pyrometers and thermal cameras. Surface structure and asymmetrical shapes create a radiative cavity with high emissivity (emissivity ≈ 0.9994) to minimize reflections and provide an ideal temperature source. The infrared sensor is positioned at the specified distance above the measurement aperture to form the appropriate calibration area. A base support can be mounted on the unit.

Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using specially designed inserts mounted vertically with the required contact force. The controller can switch to an external reference sensor located directly beneath the measurement surface, providing an optimal temperature reference point. Inserts are designed to ensure temperature homogeneity at the center of the measurement face and good thermal conductivity without the need for thermal paste or other aids.
