Multifunction calibrator SIKA TP3M165E combining dry well, micro-bath, blackbody insert for infrared and surface sensor calibration. Portable instrument for versatile use offering good thermal coupling, high homogeneity and inserts adapted to different calibration modes.

Description
Dry-well micro-bath multifunction calibrator SIKA TP3M165E. Designed to provide several calibration modes according to the shape and type of the test item while ensuring good thermal contact and high temperature stability.

Micro-bath function
Using a calibration liquid (e.g. silicone oil suitable for the temperature range) allows direct immersion of test items for direct thermal contact with the medium. Adjustable magnetic stirrer. Removable sensor basket provides homogeneous agitation without vortex and protects the bottom of the reservoir.

Dry-well function
Optimal thermal coupling between the block and the test element is achieved with a suitable insert. Recommended drill diameter approximately 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test element. The dry oven covers its entire range without changing the calibration medium, avoiding issues related to liquid viscosity.

Blackbody (infrared) function
Patented infrared blackbody insert forming a radiant cavity with high emissivity (≈ 0.9994). Surface structure and asymmetric shapes limit stray reflections and provide the ideal emissivity to calibrate pyrometers and thermal cameras. The pyrometer is positioned at the specified distance above the measurement opening; a support base can be mounted directly on the unit.

Surface temperature function
Surface sensor calibration is performed with special vertically mounted inserts and a required contact force. The calibration controller can switch to an external reference sensor to establish an optimal reference point. The reference sensor is located directly beneath the insert surface; the insert design favors maximum homogeneity at the center of the measurement face. Good thermal contact is achieved without the need for thermal paste or other auxiliaries.
