Dry-well function
The optimal thermal coupling between the block and the device under test is achieved using a suitable insert. Ideally, the drill diameter should be 0.5 mm larger than the external diameter of the device under test. The dry-well covers its full temperature range without the need to change the calibration medium, avoiding issues related to viscosity.
