Micro-bath operating principle
Using calibration liquids is advantageous when tested temperature sensors have unusual shapes or sizes. The test element is immersed directly in the liquid without an insulating air gap, ensuring direct thermal contact between the calibrator and the test element. The liquid is chosen according to the required calibration temperature (for example silicone oil). The magnetic stirrer setting is adjustable. The removable sensor basket agitates the calibration liquid to create a large measurement zone, ensures agitation without vortex formation and helps protect the tank bottom.

Reference probe and calibration
The portable calibration bath is equipped with an internal reference probe. A factory calibration certificate is available as an option. If required, a COFRAC or equivalent calibration certificate can be provided.
