R-PASS-S Energy is a sophisticated IEC 61131-compliant control unit designed to natively integrate with SENECA LET'S remote assistance and remote control platform, optimized for Industry 4.0. This advanced CPU provides reliable and secure data management, combining the functionality of a PLC (Straton IDE development environment) with routing and remote access capabilities. It supports Point-To-Point connections for Remote Assistance and Single-LAN connections for Remote Control, offering maximum flexibility and ease of use.
The R-PASS-S Energy controller allows the creation of client/server connectivity systems adaptable to different complexities and needs for simultaneous access to the plant or individual machines. Expandable via the R-COMM communication module with a 4G LTE modem/router, this device offers a complete and versatile solution for modern connectivity needs.
With 4 Ethernet ports configurable as SWITCH or LAN/WAN, 3 serial ports, optional WiFi connectivity, and a USB port, R-PASS-S Energy supports a wide range of industrial protocols and protocols for Energy Management applications such as IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104, IEC 61850 (optional). The device integrates a powerful 32-bit ARM CPU, 1 GB Flash memory, 64 MB RAM, and a memory expansion slot with microSD support. Configuration is done intuitively via the Z-NET4 environment and the integrated web server.
