OverviewThe ELSD-LT III is an evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) for HPLC/UHPLC that enables detection of analytes with little or no UV absorption, including carbohydrates, lipids, surfactants and synthetic polymers. It incorporates low-temperature evaporation technology to broaden analyte scope, Analytical Intelligence functions to extend dynamic range, and control via LabSolutions™ software. Some volatile compounds are excluded.
Features- Universal detection principle — measures light scattered by microparticles of target components remaining after evaporation of the mobile phase; suitable for compounds with poor UV absorption or masked by mobile phase background.
- Low-temperature evaporation technology — enables analysis of semi-volatile analytes while reducing thermal degradation.
- High-power laser with photometric control — provides stable sensitivity and reliable signal over long operation periods.
- Wide dynamic range through Analytical Intelligence — extends usable quantitative range and simplifies method workflows.
- Compact, space-saving design — approximately 2/3 the height of the previous model; can be mounted on top of LC units to reduce bench footprint.
- Software integration — operable and controllable using LabSolutions™ for data acquisition and method transfer.
