OverviewThe RF-20A and RF-20Axs fluorescence detectors extend the Prominence series' baseline performance, delivering very high sensitivity, simplified maintenance and validation support features. They are suitable for a wide range of HPLC applications from routine analysis to high‑performance and ultra‑fast separations.
Key features- World-class sensitivity: New optical system design provides markedly improved sensitivity for trace fluorescence detection.
- Cell temperature control improves reproducibility (RF-20Axs): Fluorescence intensity can decrease as temperature rises; a fluctuation of about 1°C near room temperature may cause ~5% intensity variation for some compounds.
- Support for ultra-fast analysis: 10 ms response time enables tracking of sharp peaks from ultra-fast separations without loss of resolution.
- Easy maintenance: Xenon lamp and flow cell are replaceable from the front panel. Lamp replacement requires no positional adjustment and the flow cell can be replaced tool-free.
