Description

Overview
The Nexera UC is a Unified Chromatography system that integrates supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) to automate extraction and analysis of target components from solid samples. The platform supports combined screening with UHPLC and SFC and is designed for high-resolution, high-sensitivity separations with reduced organic solvent consumption.

Product description
Modular system suitable for analytical and preparative scale operation. Supports automated on-line extraction from solid matrices, transfer to SFC, and optional small-volume fraction collection (for example 1.5 mL vials and 96‑well microplates). Configurable for analytical SFC, UHPLC screening, or preparative SFC workflows.

Features
  • Higher chromatographic resolution maintained at elevated flow rates for shorter analysis times.
  • Single-system support for both UHPLC and SFC to facilitate method development and rapid separation comparison.
  • Small-volume fractionation compatible with appropriate fraction collectors (example: 1.5 mL vials, microplate formats).
  • Fully automated on-line extraction and transfer: extracts target compounds from solid samples and delivers them to SFC for separation and detection.
  • Reduced environmental footprint: reported organic solvent consumption reduction of approximately 94.2% versus normal‑phase methods.

Related product lines / options
  • Analytical SFC configurations optimized for high resolution and sensitivity, with optional fraction collection down to microplate formats.
  • Preparative SFC configuration (Nexera UC Prep) for preparative scale separations with high recovery using LotusStream gas‑liquid separator and low internal volume back pressure regulator technology.
