Product OverviewGrade 80 DOSL chain sling is a double-leg lifting assembly manufactured from quenched and tempered Grade 80 alloy steel chain and components. The sling features an oblong Grade 80 master link at the top and Grade 80 self-locking hooks at the bottom for secure load engagement and improved operational safety. Each sling is permanently identified with a serial number, chain size, grade, exact sling length, and Working Load Limit (WLL) for full traceability.

Notes on tables- Continuous sling: WLL for an endless (endless chain) sling configuration.
- Angles: a = angle between the sling leg and the vertical. Typical ranges shown: 0°–45° and 45°–60°. Smaller lifting angles increase leg tension and reduce sling capacity.
- Factor: multipliers used to derive WLL for different configurations and angles; refer to engineering guidelines when calculating capacities.
Standards & TestingManufactured from Grade 80 quenched and tempered alloy steel chain and components in accordance with EN 818-2, EN 1677-1, EN 1677-3, EN 1677-4, ASME B30.9, OSHA 1910.184, AS 2321 and ISO 3077. Supplied with written certification. Minimum design factor 4:1. Each sling is proof tested, visually inspected, dimensionally verified and checked for component compatibility. Chain meets EN 818 fatigue requirements and withstands 20,000 cycles at 1.5×WLL. Every sling is supplied with an individual serial number, identification tag and full traceability records.
Maintenance & InspectionInspect before each use for chain elongation, wear, cracks, corrosion, correct operation of self‑locking hooks, deformation, damaged master links or connecting links, and missing identification tags. Remove from service if defects exceed applicable inspection criteria.
