Description

Overview
Grade 80 TOSL Chain Sling is a triple-leg lifting assembly manufactured from quenched and tempered Grade 80 alloy steel chain and components. The sling features a quad oblong master link assembly on the top and Grade 80 self-locking hooks on the bottom. The three-leg configuration improves load stability versus single- and double-leg slings and is suitable for lifting machinery, structural steel, precast concrete, fabricated components and other irregular loads. Self-locking hooks engage automatically under load to reduce risk of accidental disengagement during lifts.

Product Configuration Code
  • T = Triple Leg
  • O = Quad Oblong Master Link Assembly
  • SL = Self Locking Hook

Product Identification
Each sling is permanently marked and supplied with traceable documentation:
  • Individual serial number
  • Chain size
  • Chain grade
  • Exact sling length
  • Working Load Limit (WLL)

Typical Applications
  • Heavy machinery handling
  • Structural steel lifting
  • Precast concrete installation
  • Equipment installation
  • Mining maintenance
  • Industrial material handling

Notes
The angle a is measured from the vertical (a between 0° and 45° and a between 45° and 60° are used). Load factors vary by sling configuration and angle and are applied to calculate WLL. All metric table values are in metric tons; feet table values are in pounds. Smaller lifting angles (measured from the horizontal) increase tension in each sling leg and reduce overall lifting capacity.
