The servo motor is also known as the executive motor. In an automatic control system, it is used as
an execution element to convert the received electrical signal into an angular displacement or angular speed output
on the motor shaft.
The rotor speed of the servo motor is controlled by the input signal and can react quickly. In the automatic control system, it is used as an execution element, and has the characteristics of small electromechanical time constant, high linearity and starting voltage, so the received electrical signal can be converted into angular displacement or angular speed output on the motor shaft. It is divided into two categories: DC and AC servo motor. Its main characteristic is that when the signal voltage is zero, and the speed decreases uniformly with the increase of torque.
Adaptability: strong overload resistance, can withstand the load of three times the rated torque, especially suitable for instantaneous load fluctuations and quick start.
Stability: smooth operation at low speed, with no step operation phenomenon similar to stepper motor. Suitable for the occasions with high-speed response requirements.
Printing industry: automatic paper delivery machine, computer three-sided bag sealing machine, non-axis high-speed full-amplitude offset printing machine, etc.
