Servo control is a general term for controlling the precise positioning, speed and other motor elements of machine equipment. The servo control system is mainly composed of the controller and the servo transmission unit, which is transmitted to the load end through the mechanical parts. Servo system (or servo product) usually includes servo driver (instruction device), servo motor, and servo feedback device (encoder).
With the upgrading of the manufacturing industry, the demand for lean manufacturing equipment in various downstream industries is increasing. Lean equipment requires precise control of the movement, speed, torque and other motion elements, which all need to be achieved through high-precision servo. Similar to most industrial control automation systems, the servo system forms a closed loop control loop through the controller (brain), servo motor and driver (heart and muscle), and mechanical transmission (bone).
The starting torque is relatively large. When the given stator provides the control voltage, the rotor will immediately turn, so the servo motor has the characteristics of fast start and high sensitivity.
Servo motor is widely used in medical instruments and Equipment, computer peripherals and massive storage equipment, precision instruments, industrial control systems, office automation, robots and other fields.
The joint drive of the robot cannot be separated from the servo system. The more joints, the higher the flexibility and accuracy of the robot, and the more servo motors that need to be used.
