In addition to 8-port 10/100/1000 PoE+ downlinks, it is equipped with 2-port FX/GbE multi-rate SFP uplinks, providing flexibility when connecting various devices. It can supply power to powered devices (PD) up to 100 meters away, eliminating the need for multiple power outlets and reducing costs. All PSE and LAN ports automatically detect compatible devices, requiring no additional installation. SFP ports provide noise-free long-distance transmission for stable communication. Port-based QoS allows prioritization of traffic, especially for Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and GOOSE packets, applying industrial QoS. VLAN passthrough enables continuous packet transfer and smooth data flow between different network segments. The LLDP filter allows system monitoring and visualization of the switch on the network topology map, making management easier.The IEN-8428P is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments.
