Product OverviewPolymer Waveplates (Retarders) consist of a thin birefringent polymer film cemented between two glass windows. They act as true zero-order waveplates, providing stable retardance across wavelength shifts and wide angles of incidence. Available in quarter-wave (λ/4) and half-wave (λ/2) options covering 405–650 nm. Due to the cemented polymer construction, these waveplates are not recommended for high-power laser applications or for environments with extreme temperature shifts.
Features- True zero-order waveplate performance
- Quarter-wave (λ/4) and half-wave (λ/2) retardance options
- Available at multiple discrete wavelengths or in achromatic designs
NotesFast axis is marked on the edge of the glass.
