Description

Product Description
TECHSPEC Fresnel Rhomb Retarders are designed for 532 nm and 1064 nm operation. Using a precise internal angle, each internal reflection produces part of the retardance so that the cumulative effect yields a total λ/4 retardance. Each design is available with VIS 0° or NIR II coatings to ensure efficient transmission across the target wavelength band. These retarders exhibit less than 2% retardance variation over the specified bandwidth and are optimized for diode and fiber-based laser applications.

Key Features
  • Broadband performance with <2% retardance variation across the design band
  • Design wavelengths: 532 nm and 1064 nm
  • Coating options: VIS 0° or NIR II for optimized transmission
  • Available apertures: 12.7 mm and 25.4 mm
  • Provides λ/4 total retardance via cumulative internal reflections

Typical Applications
  • Diode laser systems
  • Fiber-optic polarization control and manipulation
  • Broadband polarization retardation tasks across VIS and NIR ranges

Technical Specifications
  • Retardance: λ/4 (total quarter-wave retardance from internal reflections)
  • Retardance variation: <2% across specified operational bandwidth
  • Design wavelengths: 532 nm, 1064 nm
  • Coating options: VIS 0° or NIR II (selected per design wavelength)
  • Mechanical sizes (apertures): 12.7 mm and 25.4 mm
  • Optimized for diode and fiber applications
