Point ionizer Model 8199 Gen4®

Overview
The Model 8199 Gen4® Ionizing Point is a compact spot ionizer designed for static neutralization without air assistance. Ideal for lightweight materials and processes where airflow would disturb the product, it can be mounted close to charged surfaces or through a duct to neutralize moving air or materials.

Models
Ionizing Points are available in two configurations:

• Ionizing Point — includes the Ionizing Point and 5 ft (1.52 m) of armored, electromagnetically shielded cable.
• Ionizing Point System — includes the Ionizing Point and Model 7960 selectable-voltage power supply (115 VAC / 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz).

Notes
The Ionizing Point is effective for spot neutralization without airflow and may be mounted through a duct to neutralize static in moving air or materials.

Specifications

• Power Supply: EXAIR Model 7960 or 7961 power supply (5 kV) required; supplies include a modular 6 ft (1.83 m) power cord, lighted power switch, integrated primary fuse and (2) or (4) high-voltage outlets.
• Electrical: For use with 5 kVrms, 5 mA (max) power supply.
• Electrical hazard: Shockless (less than 40 microamperes short-circuited). Do not use near flammable materials or gases.
• Metal parts: Stainless steel.
• Plastic parts: UL rated 94 HB.
• Emitter: Stainless steel.
• Maximum ambient temperature: 165°F (74°C).
