Overview
EXAIR's Gen4® Standard Ion Air Knife™ uses the Standard Air Knife (30:1 air amplification) to deliver a sheet of ionized air to charged surfaces. It removes static from plastics, webs, sheet stock and other surfaces to reduce tearing, jamming and hazardous shocks. Air consumption and noise are somewhat higher than the Gen4 Super Ion Air Knife (40:1 amplification). Effective reach up to 20 ft (6.1 m).

• Gen4 Standard Ion Air Knife — includes the Standard Air Knife and Gen4 Ionizing Bar assembly. Power supply not included.

Accessories (summary)
Power Supplies — Models 7960 (2-outlet) and 7961 (4-outlet) available for 115 VAC or 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Include 6' (1.83 m) modular power cord and lighted power switch. UL Component recognized, CE and RoHS compliant.

Universal Air Knife Mounting System — Model 9060 provides secure positioning for any EXAIR Air Knife; top mounting possible on any length, bottom mounting possible on Standard Ion Air Knives 9" (229 mm) or longer. Articulates to any position; maximum extension 30" (762 mm).

Air Knife Plumbing Kits — for knives 24" and longer; include appropriately sized hose/pipe, fittings and pressure gauge for aluminum knives.

Coupling Bracket Kits — join multiple Air Knives for extended lengths; include plates and stainless steel screws with access for compressed air inlets.

Air Knife Shim Sets — set exhaust gap to adjust force and flow. Typical shim set thicknesses for aluminum knives: .001" (0.03 mm), .002" (0.05 mm) installed, .003" (0.08 mm), .004" (0.10 mm).
