Description

The MSC-N1 module is a high-performance multi-measurement meter in a 1-module housing: - Measurements: The meter measures 1 three-phase circuit or 3 single-phase circuits. ➞ Current measurement: via Enerclip current transformers with RJ12 connection. ➞ Voltage measurement: direct or via voltage transformers. - Precision: Active energy measurement class 0.5S. - Electrical: Self-powered on the measured circuit. - Physical: 18mm width housing (1 module), clips onto DIN rail. Connection via RJ12 ports or detachable screw terminals. - Communication: Programmable output as relay output or pulse emitter on active energy. Modbus RTU on RS485 port (2 A terminals and 2 B terminals). - Inputs and outputs: The meter is equipped with one relay output and two programmable digital inputs. - Multi-measurement: Measures main electrical quantities for detailed circuit analysis: active and reactive energies ┃ imported and exported ┃ voltage, current ┃ active powers ┃ reactive and apparent powers ┃ power factor ┃ frequency ┃ demands, ┃ extreme values ┃ imbalances ┃ and more... - Circuit control and alarms: The MSC-N1 meter relay is programmable on reaching minimum or maximum thresholds of current, voltage, power, phase imbalance, allowing: ➞ to protect electrical circuits ➞ to perform alarm functions to alert in case of abnormal electrical signal ➞ to perform automatic load shedding in case of overload. - Circuit status feedback: The two digital inputs allow knowing the status of auxiliary electrical circuits or devices and alerting in case of failure or circuit break. - Pulse counters: The two digital inputs can be set as pulse counters, to report gas or water meter consumptions equipped with pulse emitters in Modbus. - Compactness: 1-module width housing. - Ease of installation: RJ12 cord connection of CTs reduces wiring time and avoids any risk of error. Opening current sensors allow installation without disconnecting the measured circuit. - Supervision: Data reading and programming on the optional MSC-DE display or using the free software provided. - Applications: The compact housing and ease of integration make it the ideal measuring instrument for adding measurement points of sub-circuits in existing electrical cabinets.
