OverviewPerkins 400 Series electric power (EP) engines provide compact, economical and reliable power for generator sets. The Perkins 402D-05G is the smallest model in the range: a 0.5 litre two-cylinder unit engineered for low running costs, straightforward installation and strong cold-start performance. The engine complies with EU Stage IIIA and U.S. EPA Tier 3 emissions regulations and is suitable for prime and standby applications, including regions with less stringent emissions control.
