OverviewThe Lucid-X LSX4094B is a compact modular microwave signal generator offered in PXIe module, desktop, benchtop, rackmount and portable configurations. It provides low phase noise and high spectral purity up to 40 GHz, supports coherent frequency switching and is intended for demanding RF and microwave applications such as STALO/LO sources, radar, electronic warfare and high-performance DAC/ADC clocking.
Key Features- Fast switching: <= 10 µs (optional ultra-fast switching)
- Coherent frequency switching for phase-stable multi-channel operation
- Analog modulation: AM, FM, PM, Sweep
- Pulse modulation with high on/off ratio and fast rise/fall times
- Low phase noise for high signal integrity
- LAN, USB and SPI integrated interfaces
- Modular platforms: PXIe, Desktop, Benchtop, Rackmount, Portable
Analog / Modulation CapabilitiesThe LSX4094B includes built-in AM, FM, PM and Sweep. FM supports deviations up to 10 MHz and rates up to 1 MHz; AM supports linear depth up to 90% and rates up to 100 kHz; PM supports peak deviation up to 360°; Pulse modulation offers typical on/off ratio ~70 dB and rise/fall times < 15 ns.
Control and ProgrammingSupports industry-standard SCPI and VISA for remote control. Interfaces: LAN, USB and SPI. Programmable from Python, MATLAB, C#/C++ and NI LabVIEW. A virtual front panel is provided for local and network GUI control.
Form FactorsAvailable as PXIe module, desktop, benchtop, 19-inch rack and portable (battery) units. Scalable for coherent multi-channel systems (1, 2 and 4 channel and multi-unit rack/benchtop configurations).
